Beat a ZR1 killer the other day(1999 Supercharged Saleen) *Video inside* Well i raced an orange supercharged saleen last weekend, the guy happens to be in my car club and we were racing to see who the faster person was since we are going to set up some races against one of our rival car clubs in town. I had 3 people tell me that this guy had beat a ZR1 corvette and that he had beat a Z06...honestly i dont even think he could beat a stock auto C5 since he could barely hang with my auto bolt on ls1 camaro.
Anyway we did 2 Races because he had to go to work, he didnt have alot of time. Both were digs. The first one was nasty, he had no traction and was sliding all over his lane, i swear i thought he was going to hit me but my car hooked and i was gone...i would say i beat him by a good 10 car lengths lol. Half way down the first race he slowed down and gave up. The second race was a little bit better...well ill let you guys be the judge, the video is the second race...he babied it off the line but still didnt have enough to catch me...I let off at about 135-140ish and he was still a good distance behind me i would say about 4-5 cars...in the video you can hear my buddys say he was catching me but honestly no chance.
Im not hating on fords or mustangs so please to all the cobra guys, do not come in and start ******* up my thread...i know its not a 4 valve 03-04...im sure i would of gotten beat...Still a nice kill IMO.

Thanks...yea thats what some of my friends told me, that he had said he beat a zr1...i guess he posted it up on fb and everything...lol the funny thing is there isnt even a zr1 here...a few c5 Z's and 1 c6Z but no ZR1 lol. All of the z06's c5's and c6 are over 500hp no way in hell he could touch one because i know i cant lol.
