The cost wasn't any more than what a gear change in the rear end would cost $300. I did it cause I would rather have the gear change in the trany then weakend the rear end. The gear ratio in the tranny is simular to runing 3.88's. I had it done w/ http://www.texasdrivetrainperformance.com/t56.html

I have I want it! And I want the chiseled performance rear mount intercooler tank that I can run ice in to. If I do both it should be much beter. Any time you pick up cooler air outside the engine bay its gonna help iats

Why did you clump yourself in what I said? It wasn't directed towards you so why assume it was?
So by me downing the new Dodges you expect me to own something "far and away better"? What is so about a Mach 1? Looking at what you drive I would expect you to keep your mouth shut on what I own. Just my honest opinion here..

For the record I argue what I want, when I want to thanks . At least I make an effort to be rational (look it up) and respectful (again look it up) unlike you with your half assed one-liners that you try to pass off as gospel.
Here's a big fat idea, why don't you give us all a break with the holier than thou attitude you so often sport? I'd rather you post up pictures of the drinks you are having again (lame).
It's no wonder you don't reply to some of us, you can't argue for **** apparently. You like to say it's because you don't care what some of us think, but realistically it's because you choose your battles wisely. I'll give you that, you know when you're beat.
Why don't you just go ahead and tell us, you will anyways.
Not surprising in the least What else you got Mr. Simmons? Here I thought your "Man Crush Warning" title was just a joke .

Not fast not slow. When new mustangs are hitting 11s w/ bolt ons, Z06s run easily that fast stock, 03/04s have been doing it w/ a decent driver and bolt ons for a while now, 11s isnt that fast IMO. Hell a boat Taurus can run low 12s fairly easily. Fast for our old **** but not really by today's standards.

88 gt you ******* dipshit lol.... show me dyno pulls where the cai drops power. my intake set up draws air at the botom of the bumper instead of the hot bay! you show me back to back dynos with no changes but the cai on a eaton and show me the ******* power loss. not to mention stopsign said in his opinion and thats it his opinion.

I can add to the JLT comments. Yes the JLT will make more power in real world circumstances. A dyno is one thing. An under the hood filter has higher IAT1's and IAT2's. I've datalogged on the street with a 9"-12" open and a 12" JLT in the Fender. Same day back to back. The 9" filter on said application would have IAT1's in the 110's and IAT2's would hit 200*plus. The 12" help some IAT1's in the 105*range and IAT2's would hit the high 170*-185* range. Then the 12" JLT in the Fender would have IAT1's in the mid 90*s and IAT2's were in the 145-150* range. Also on my 9 sec car with the JLT in 95* air and about 4000ft DA when I use my Ice box on a 1/4 mile pass my IAT2's hit a max of 133* on 28psi of boost. Under the hood would be cooking!
