I think all of the trifectas have the hide a tune feature but I'm going for warranty. I just have to pull my catless downpipe off. I may pull the tune out before i take it to. I'm hoping its just a bad sensor. It has a few other small issues. I'm getting a service brake system message occationally and I lose one of my tire sensors sometimes. the fan motor makes a noise as well. They'll be giving it a good going over.

I'm not sure what the flash/piggyback tune is lol but I can take it out since I kept the cable. It just stores it on my laptop. Same concept as a programmer.

Yeah, flash is basically what you have. You can flash back your stock PCM/ECU firmware. I use a programmer called a Cobb Accessport, but I also have a piggyback which is a physical device that you plug inline with your PCM/ECU. The gray area is when you get a flash done on the dyno. Unless you have a copy of hptuners or whatever was used, it becomes difficult to go back to stock ECU wise. I'd imagine that it's much like what us n54 bimmer guys deal with. I can bring my car in with some bolt ons for servicing and that is acceptable, but if they saw a flash tune or a piggyback on my car they'd void my warranty.
