I take it your on street tires, nice MPH though! With some more practice you could have mid 12s even on those tires.

Nice runs. I wonder if sac raceway is faster... My trap was much higher when I put down 399/385 and of course at 420/390

If you could leave harder I think you could gain a few mph.

I bet with some DRs he could have a solid low to mid 12 as well. Hes leaving a lot on the table at the launch for sure. ~Edit~ To bad its a 10 bolt it seems he still has in, would explain the no DRs lol

I've ran at both this year. The traps are close to the same. Sac use to have high traps but they adjusted that.

lmao....he won't move 2 feet

Op, if those are your mods in your sig.....then I expected much more. No offense, but unless you at a real high altitude track you should've been real close if no in the 11's at 118-120.

^ Same here, my bolt-on ETs were better, along with my mph being the same. I know you're making power power but you can get out of the hole better than that.

Bias ply would be easier on the 10 bolt than a DR. A friend of a friend launched his car, 4.10s, cam only, slicks and a 150 shot, and he pulled the wheels. Did this type of launch plenty of time...10 bolt survived. It's a shame he never mentioned that, or the many bottles he put through the motor, in his for sale ad here. I feel sorry for whoever bought that car.

I know, the time could be better.i know people have had there stock rear end survive launching harder, using sticky tires etc.I guess I really dont feel like risking breaking it and getting towed home from the track! Also I only go to the track like 3 times a year.Next year will be better,i plan on upgrading the rear end, driveshaft, axles, etc.Until than it is what it is.Rollin on ryken craptors till than!

I would expect a higher trap then that OP. What was your DA? Some of it can be blamed on a soft launch with street tires... what were you running in your tires for pressure? That will play a huge part in ur top end. For example. I went 11.47 on street tires at 120mph. I had to drop the tire pressure down from 35 to 10psi to be able to get the car moving. I instantly lost 2mph from doing that. I rolled out soft and then just matted it and it bit. Surprisingly still cut a 1.72 60 ft. Im a stalled auto though. And the 10bolt def has more then a high 12 in it. My car has an 11.0 at 123 in it without changing anything but the rear tires. Im also a GTO so apples to oranges i guess

Also the first run I literally had to run to my car, toss on my helmet and go.Hangin too far from my car when it was my turn.Launched at like zero rpm sleeping at the light I guess.Surprised I got the camera turned on and the traction control off,i was in a rush the first run against the camaro!I know it sounds like the most ridiculous excuse!lolI knew I would catch some flack for my shitty times! At least I posted the video!

what did that 5th gen camaro run?? what other cars are trapping CAN give you a better idea of what the track conditions are like that day. Ive been to infineon raceway on multiple occasions on nice days (65-70*) and seen a bunch of light bolton LS1's trap 102-104mph and bolton LT1's and 99+ Mustangs trap 94-96mph. Ive also seen numbers from there that are more typical as to what youll see here on the net that people get at other tracks but that usually hasnt been the case from when ive gone.
