Newer V8 Ram 1500 vs my beater Mazda
I have a 93 Mazda Protege LX as my daily beater. It is a DOHC 1.8, 5 speed car with 202,xxx miles on it. I take the toll road every day to and from work and happened to be paying my toll at the same time as Dodge Ram guy. It was a newer V8 model 1500 with catback, and was lifted on some mud tires. It's about 1/8 mile from the toll booth to the merge point and I had 2 cars on him by the time we got there. The best part was that he did a ricer flyby on me! Too funny.

Must have had that car wrapped up to mind blowing 45mph. There is no way that truck would have kept up with you. Should have raced a Town & Country. Would have been closer.

Dodge Ram guy never accelerates normally when challenged by an import. Its also pretty easy to recognize WOT coming from those pipes dude. I'm not saying that my ******' Mazda is fast. I just thought this was a funny encounter. Jesus Chrysler.

You do realize mud tires and lifts hurt speed right? And you also realize it could've just been a 4.7? Also you do realize cat backs pretty much do nothing for these trucks right?
I so hope this thread was sarcasm

People say that about my car too, when I'm shifting at 2,500.

For you douche bags that still don't get it, I posted about this encounter because it was FUNNY. The guy did a ricer flyby in a dodge ram for Christ's sake. I'm sorry if you don't find that funny, but i do. I never said that my **** box mazda or the dodge were fast vehicles. I just thought it was comical that dodge guy's feelings were hurt.

No wonder you got so bent out of shape. You are dodge ram guy lol. I also see that you own two other pieces of **** in the form of a mustang and eclipse. I think you're on the wrong forum.

one of those new dodge ram R/T's or whatever ran a 13.9@100 mph here. those thigns come with 4.10 gears and a 3200 stall(i think) stock. they are stout down low but have nothing up top.
