Chrysler 300 wanted a piece of my Z06 First thing in the morning, fire up my 571 rwhp C6 Z06, head out. Before I go one mile I get a joker in a newish 300 come blasting up behind me and pull alongside and match speeds. Problem is my oil and water temps are in the 60's, not nearly enough temp to wail on the old girl. So I cruise and he hits it, with the stock exhaust hissing sound. 
We get to the first light, now temps in the 80's, still not enough. Damn. He blasts off (well as much as a stock 300 can). A few miles later we're still together, and getting on the freeway, me behind him. Temps are now 100+, best I'm gonna get for a while. He decks it, I do too, and before I hit third gear I have passed him and opened up TRAIN lengths on him.
Can't even call that a mercy killing. It was like clubbing baby seals.

Suprise you wasted gas on that. Guys like him just want to see you get off for their own amusement. I get that all the time in my Camaro. If it doesn't appear worthy I just laugh and keep on cruising.

...I don't see the problem. Why not show him then? Hell that's half the fun of having a fast car...to shut 'em up, make 'em smile, all while having a chance to get on it...win win.

You should try rolling a viper...every 300 in my state wants to rev on me ect..red headed step brother syndrome I guess..
But I belieave lots of them actually belieave they have a fast car because its an v8..

you're probaly right there F-BODY_4_LIFE.....but you never know what goes some people's mind...SRT8?????....yeah like that would have a damn difference ...i can see it now...SRT8 W/ 470HP VS HEAVILY MODDED C6 Z06 WITH 571 WHP....yeah...ooook that would have made a big change in the outcome...thanks for your infinite wisdom there stoppy...that 300 would have needed a tank full of NOS + F.I.+ MAJOR WEIGHT SAVINGS TO HOPE HE COULD WIN....please stop it already...
