They cant beat a 2005-2010 GT. Our cars are faster then a 2005-2010 GT. So yes you will pull on it and higher the speeds the faster you will pull on it. Stock for Stock or Mod to Mod. I dont mean that they are slow just dont have the torque or power to keep up.

Stock I think I've heard of 13.7s from them at a little over 100. There is a guy who posts on MF with Lethal o/r xpipe, JLT cai, Bama 93R tune, 3.73's who is running 8.6 @ 82 in the 1/8th, best 1/4 13.2. A few guys are even better with tunes and bolt ons. Pretty impressive IMHO.

Im not disagreeing with you on that comment there are some people who are under the impression they can beat a Stock 5.0 with a LS1 but has to be stock 5.0, not the 3:73 gears, has to be full bolt on LS1 with an excellent driver, LS1 manual tranny and even then i would say its tuff to beat a new 5.0. Ford just did an excellent job with the new GT and there are some drivers who dont drive them well, some better drivers have beat them and blown up this whole LS1 will beat a new 5.0 thing. Pretty soon most 5.0's will not be stock just like most LS1's are not and if you cant beat them while there stock and in most cases LS1's cant if not all, forget it when they are even mildly modified. Im actually considering buying the new 5.0 as well and just waiting for there prices to drop a bit more.
