"R1K GTR about to get spanked"

The GTR is on a low boost pump gas tune (700awhp).

I hope that r1000 doesn't stand for 1000hp.

Yea I didn't think so either, but apparently the 5.0 cameraman did.

Yes, it does stand for 1000hp on race gas

I listened to it again and you may be right. If so, disregard the OP. It wasn't a very competitive race.

Hey Steve what do you put down on race gas?

I just had the pleasure of street raceing in a 900 awhp gtr. Very impressive

I don't have a race gas tune. I'm at about as much power as the stock pistons & rods can handle with 93 octane. If I did have a built motor, I was told that my particular GT28 turbos would make ~775awhp on race gas. Below is a link to my dyno sheet. It is an AWD mustang dyno, and that day the weather was near perfect (or so Switzer said) so the results were better than usual. That is the highest output they have seen out of a P800 (93 octane) on their dyno. Switzer also attributed the higher numbers to their new 90mm exhaust system.

He ran 13's...what a joke.

Like how the driver is wearing a helmet and the passenger isn't; odd too since none of our local tracks let you take a passenger down the track.

Thanks for the compliments

I hate to be the one coming to the defense of a 5.0, but he did have a passenger. 13.3 isn't toooo bad haha.

I saw your supra for sale on SF. Nice car BTW. Did you find a buyer? I assume you got a GTR or plan to get one?
