That was awesome. I'm gonna guess a Hiyabusa or similar swapped in?

definetly something other then a 3 cylinder in that geo. you can hear it hitting rev limiter and spinning. the main problem was traction with the 13 inch tall wheels and probably 7 inch wide tires.

haha that's the idea. then again he was up against a pretty stout vette. that vette beats my bolt on Ws6 by about the same, so now the Geo and I are going to have at it. he should be a very close run for me.

it's actually a Suzuki Swift GTI that has a built 1.6 stroker, holset hy35 turbo from a cummins diesel, and right now on 23 lbs, pump gas and a conservative tune. It still surprises people for what it is

another local friend of mine built a Festiva with a turbo BP swap. never got to run him before his phsycotic brother burnt it to the ground in his driveway. sleeper/oddball cars are a big thing in this area. you never know what you are pulling up next to. we smoked a new 5.0 in it last night too but I didn't have the camera ready. wasn't expecting it lol

it is indeed a completely de-badged Swift GTI, and nope, fwd. it originally had the 1.3 turbo'd and made about 160 whp. the 1.6 currently makes 220 on a very stingy dyno. but granted the car also weighs just under 1700 lbs. btw he has Nittos on the front too lol

hey guys first post on here and already correcting someone. It is not a 1.6 stroker motor it is a 1.6 tracker short block with forged pistons and rods. But just remember i also had no tach so that race was nt as good as it could have been. Thanks Stephen

was the corvette a ls2 or ls3. If its a ls2 it is not making 420. More like 380.

Not sure why one would mod one of those, but impressive nonetheless.
