Default new best with with ZR1 call out

Well went to track last night. Ran a new best of 10.65@131 leaving at 2000rpm. Got told I could only run 1/8th then cause no roll bar. So i run again and drop a some time and gain mph in the 1/8th. Ran a 6.7@103 on this pass on t he 1/8th and cut a 1.53 60ft to the 1.61 60 ft on the 10.6 run. Overall good run. Tried to get one more pass in to run it out the back door but some Supra that was suppose be super fast ran and broke dragging oil all way down track. It was just horrible conditions after that. Car has more in it the way it sits I am sure of that. WIll try make out next weekend to differnet track that will not boot me to no roll bar. Will post slips here soon. I know WBT also got soem video's of my my 10.65 run and last run where I spun and ran a 10.8.

Now there was a ZR1 in front of me in line. WBT and me walked over looked at it. Guy comes back and gets rude. Asked us what the **** we are looking at. We realize then its same Guy that last time he ran 12.3-high 13's in it. He also has a new Porsche with work that has work that ran like 11.3 and a Ferrari California that ran 13 and 14's. So argument starts since he was rude. I tell him looking at a slow *** ZR1. He says oh ya what you drive. I tell him just the 5.0 behind you. He ***** off oh ya cause its fast with your Vanilla Ice car. I said ya its ran a 10.6@131 tonight and you run 12's in your ZR1 I am okay with that. He says oh I have other cars. Ya I know I watched them all run like **** here. So I'm not worried. We walk back to KDANNER and my car. Next thing he is back there trying be a ********. Then says its cool man I am just busting your *****. I tell him don't get mad someone bust yours back. He then flips out. YOU DONT BUST MY *****. And storms off still trying talk ****. So again we tell him well you fast line them up. Bring any of your cars. Well we finally get up by officials. He goes tell on us. LOL. Yes like a little kid. Track guys come over ask what happen. We tell them and they laugh at me making fun of his cars. They say don't worry about him. He is bipolar or some crap. Just another rich *****. He told us we didn't know who we was F'ing with. We laughed and I replied yep don't know don't care. Your about to take an *** whipping. Guy ended up getting yelled at by one my other buddies also to go back to his car. (I may left some parts out..It was just to funny.)

Looked like about 4.0 60 ft. ******* ****. Should have asked him if his boyfriend was a better driver or you thought that someone as gay as him should be able to work a stick better than that. I hate big money ******** like that.

Nice times.

That ZR1 owner was a DBag. He's going to get his mouth shut the hard way if he keeps that up.

I don't understand the concept of spending money like that on a car and not investing in proper wheel/tire selection.. unless hes a roll racer, in which case why was he at a 1/4 mile drag race track?

Thanks guys, The 10.65 was launching at 1800-2000rpms. Wanted to make sure the track stuck. That pass was a 6.8@102 1/8th. Launching at 3200 it was a 6.7@103 1/8. 1.61 to a 1.53 60ft.

Ohioborn I honestly think you'll get your best times by launching at 3000-3200rpm and letting your converter flash it's way into your engine's powerband.

I have tried it every which way and found this way to be the fastest. It might work better at 2000rpm and more timing in the tune till the converter begins to "lock up" hard and then pull it back out to the way it was before after the "lock up" point where the car really begins to accelerate.

Just some constructive advice, car is nice though.

Thanks. I have no doubt better times launching aroudn 3200. I was making sure track was going to hold it. I tried to just say screw it but track went to **** as the Supra layed oil all down the track. I will be going back to a different track friday that don't care for about roll bar.
