Default Not an LS win - but a GM win nonetheless - Cobalt SS/TC Vs Built Integra Turbo

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9Pr3iBQIaOU

The Integra owner claims no accurate horsepower figures due to spinning on the dyno. My Cobalt runs a 13.1 @ 110mph with a 8600ft DA.

Sad part is that in that video he launched in 2nd gear. We did a run before that and he launched in 1st -- gave up before the 8th mile. He desperately needs some slicks on 15s.

I'm on street tires in the vid also, no drag radials. 225/40/18 Conti DWS XTRM Contacts with about 1/2 tread life left. Still kinda hook.

I know its boosted, but wonder how much he would gain with a close to 0 DA

Corrected to a 0 DA would be 12.4 at 114 for the Cobalt's boosted setup. For a built NA motor running the same times, it would be an 11.6

Gay **** happens to your DA when your home track is already at 5800ft above sea level.

LNF is an impressive motor.

Wish my dad would mod his Solstice GXP more. Took me 5 years to convince him to get a tune

Sounds like my dad, keep telling him to do SOMETHING to his 5.7 300, and instead he goes and buys a bike.

Pretty ignorant comment right here.
According to Cobaltss.net;
If you count out shop cars, the fastest Cobalt ever ran a 11.952@117.62mph.

I'm pretty sure I could build a Honda in my back yard using nothing but a 10mm socket to run quicker than 11.9...

Sorry, I had to ******* laugh at 8600 DA. That is horrible. Makes me feel good about when I used to run in 5-6k DA.
