Good runs man, you sure that wasn't a manual M5? Looked like it but anywho I guess that seems about right with him starting to pull up top.

Thanks man, everyone on our local forum told me SMG. He wanted funny rolls, a 70 and a 50. Top of my second is 60 so we settled on a 45 and 65

good runs and i like the setup op. Clutch, alu flywheel, driveshaft, drag wheels, and a bit more weight pulled and you could have yourself a serious bolt on GTO that could upset some people. Probably drop another 150lbs with mods i just mentioned.

I was thinking a G-force CF Driveshaft and a Spec 3+ clutch with lightweight flywheel would be my next mods. Maybe coilovers if I have enough money. I can pull the rear and passenger seats for an easy 110lbs when I need to loose it too. 120 traps as a bolt on car is my goal.

its very possible being a stick car. Key is getting the weight down and lightening the drivetrain quite a bit. Cant cheap out anywhere. If you need any tips on where to get weight out on the car... let me know. I had mine down to 3250 at one point without me in it. 3400 race weight. If you do the clutch/flywheel/ and driveshaft at the same time. Its gonna feel like you pulled 300lbs outta the car. Then another 110 for wheels alone... forget it. You will suck that m5 up and all without making a single more hp

Also an underdrive pulley and EWP is a must. Even if it only gets u 10whp... its 10whp you will need on the back half of the track.

Time for a power adder. Stop going the bitch weight route and hide a 150 shot and upset everyone.

I wish, but I have a large sound system and I need all the juice I can get from the alternator. Also, if my voltage drops too much that wont be very good for my cooling system with an EWP.

Went back and did some math, pretty sure I can save get under 3450 from clutch, driveshaft, wheels, and coilovers.

Thanks, I'm going to be doing a built 4xxCI motor when I graduate. Until then I'm just sticking with bolt-ons and supporting mods.

Weight reduction is a bitch route but the bottle isn't?

I haven't gone anywhere. ClubGP is just dead with about 3 active members in the kill section.

Besides I already proved that driver is everything.

Your car sounds sick!

Edit: Do some creative weight reduction, not sure about GTO's but in my car i can think of almost 100lbs i can drop without touching any creature comforts.
