I was going home from cars and coffee this morning and pulled up next to a burnt orange bently gt. I looked over at him and he gave my car a once over and kinda chuckled. Light turned green and i let out the clutch and took off fairly normal,then i hear the gt lay hell so i follow suit. He gets about a fender or so on me because im lightly spinning in first. I grab second and stop his pull and start slightly inching. I grab third and start pulling on him and get about 3/4 car by the time i hit 4th. i get 3/4 the way through 4th gear and my car nose dives hard. I look down and......... im on empty. So needless to say i got my 3/4 car lead and the race was over.

I was pround of the caddy even tho i know those gt's are tanks to say the least. It was still nice to show the guy what was up after he was laughing at the car. For refrence ive ran a 12.87 at 112.5 with a 2.17 60ft, and the car dynoed 429/395.

Good kill! I gave one fits when my G8 was stock. I'm assuming he started in the wrong gear or something, but he was barely able to pull on me. For the weight they are strong runners based on track times I've seen.

yeah not joke, lol. My dummy alarm came across the navigation screen shortly before the race but since i havnt had much of any action since ive done my cam and everything i got excited to see if he would run and forgot about not having any gas. But hey i got enough to see how the car would do. The car was awsome looking and i actually think it was a supersport. It looked like this.

Sounds liek you raced a regular Gt, 13 second cars at 106mph. No spinning for him would come out to that outcome.

regular one runs a 12.8 and a supersport runs a 12.1, from what ive found. Still it was a fun run.
