Default LS1 Camaro vs BMW 135i **VIDEO**

Finally got my friend to run me... I figured it be a pretty close race. he use to have downpipes but put the stocks back on because his car was backfiring. He plans of putting the downpipes back on, Intercooler, & some meth. Hopefully he gets some tires so we can do a dig! & if he get those mods were do a rematch when I'm H/C

Let me know what you think! Enjoy

Those 135's are some of the coolest little cars to come out in a long time.

Nice runs OP, those little 135i's with the right mods can be deadly quick. Not the greatest from a dig, but they do alright.

Yea I think the gearing kind of killed me a little bit in the top end? Because I jumped on him quick until 100ish & he just reeled me in & was out

Good runs. My buddy has a 135i with dp's, fmic, twin intakes, axle back, tune, 14psi and it gets my 393whp GTO by about 2 cars. And he still has meth to do...time for a cam.

I had a guy try to mess with me in one of those things one day. I was driving my 01. We were on fairly curvy road and I knew there was no way I could hang and maintain traction. I dont know if it was truly faster than me or not but that bitch moved! I was shocked. I have no clue what was done to it. I know it wasn't stock though.

Nice! I didn't expect that. Your car sounds good and you have your shifting down too. Shouldn't have bothered going into 5th though lol.

The beauty of the 135i's and the 335i's is that you never know what you are going to get. It could be a stock 260whp car or a 450whp bolt on/tune/meth car. Most 335i guy's don't bother to install a catback(no gains there) because stock flows so well and pair that with some downpipes it doesn't sound much different than stock.

135i's are super impressive due to their weight savings, but I'm more partial to the looks of a 335i/x coupe

The 335i has run in the 10's at over 130mph with the single turbo setup. No nitrous. Dragtimes has the info on the run. This was in summer weather nonetheless.

It wasn't gearing, it was the fact that he didn't brake boost.

Before anyone says it, all turbos lag. BMWs don't defy physics.
