GMC Pick-up vs 99 Mustang GT I raced a 99 GT the other day in my pick-up.
Its a 2003 GMC Sierra v6, built tranny, 3000 stall, posi with 3.73, C.A.I, shorty headers to stright exhaust, and a little Laughing Gas.
I am putting a head and camed 5.3L in it sometime this summer. Thats why the built tranny and rear end are all ready in it.
So I see this GT with some ppl in it and on the back bumber there is a sticker that said, Ricer's are like tampon's every ***** needs one. I laughed and went on by him. Everybody know a 4.3L with exhaust sounds like a ricer after 2500 rpm's. After I was by him. He came up beside me and started talking **** about how my truck sounds. I let it go for about 6 block and then the red light hit. I told him my little v6 would walk all over that GT. He laughed an said lets not get are hopes up. I said let go on green, he said, sure. The light truned green and I got the jump. I stayed there until the end of 1st gear. At the next light I open the bottle and got ready to run again. When I pulled up he asked if I wanted to go again I said for sure.
The Good Race.
The light goes green I am somking the tires off. I let up a little so the full trottle switch is not clicked on. I get to about 10-15 and to the floor again. I stay in it until 60 or so he is way behind me. the next few light stay green and I slow down to ask for a roll race and he won't even get close to the truck. I hit a red light and he just gets behind me and don't even pull up beside me.
a few night's later I was at the hangout spot and me and some friends over hear some kids talking about his friend getting beat by some bad *** truck running around town. I wak over and ask what kind of car does you friend drive. He said a GT with exhaust and a cold air intake. I listen to the story and Laughed and walked off. The Kids in the mustang went around telling everyone my truck was a turboed 5.3 That sounded like a v6 and it was a low 11 truck...........I still laught just thinking about it. Its a mid 13 maybe and thats a big maybe........lol

I need to get some video of it. Its not to fast but I like picking on modded 88-98 chevy trucks. the 99-10 are a good race until I get one that has more than just a few bolt-on's.
