The more I think about it less it matters. I mean 40 roll, 60 roll, 80 roll, its all the same unless its a dig. If you do a 60-160, that's the same as a 40-140 IMO

And your car at the end of the day is just another slow catfish camaro =/

bullshit. That civic makes 350whp tops. A 700whp civic would be so fast it would make a black hole and swallow the galaxy. A 350whp civic should be able to handle a 145-150 trapping bike easy.

Nice vid, that car is a rocket. I remember watching him run down that GT-R in the 1/4 and was impressed then.

Bike seems to lose ground on every shift. A rider mod would probably make this one hell of a race

wrong. We both know that civic would be either in and out of boost and slow as hell down low, or have his boost a gear set low enough to stay in the throttle --- either way, that 14 would be buses ahead near instantly.

The Civic is a bad little car though....

Even a complete **** rider at 200lbs on a 14 should trap 140-145 minimum and the Civic was obviously pulling some (besides when the 14 took a nap between shifts).

Yeah my first car I chose to build for alot of reasons, and FWD is not ideal, but it works for me for what I'm doing with it.

Id run anything from a dig. Problem is there is no place to do it except the track. This car already ran a 10.5 on his first pass ever in the car so I dont see what left there is too prove.

Nope....I hate because they're a heap of **** rattle trap that drives the wrong wheels, extremely unreliable, sound like ****, have had to wait far to long for the track to clean up messes after them, drive like ****. In the end all they can do with that junk is make it accelerate from 60+ -120 or 130 somewhat quickly....if they brake boost, and w/o race gas or meth or e85 they can't even do that.

If someone wants to put THAT much money into an old civic, or any civic for that matter, then whatever
IMO, its dumb to try to build up rice when v8 power is cheaper and more reliable.
But I've had less than perfect power plants in cars to build from....but eventually I cut my losses and went displacement...but to each his own.

Dont know what Hondas you've owned. All of mine have ran great unless I did something wrong.

Opinion that I'll agree with for the most part. I dont mind the sound but I'd much rather hear a cammed out V8 revving to 8k.

I have had just as many domestics bust rears or trannies as hondas break axles, which usually doesn't leave much to clean up

I dont think anyone who has driven my car/s come out and not say it was fun to drive.

And make good power, get good gas mileage, be cheap on insurance, be easy to work on, be fun to drive, and cheap parts dont do anything.

Any turbo car should brake boost. Its stupid not to.

That applies to everything...

I'm not say a civic or any honda is the end all, but its certainly not the worst thing in the world to own or play with.

I'm glad people choose to build all different kinds of cars. This hobby would be pretty freaking boring if we all drove and modded the same kind of car because some guy on the internet had an opinion.

Lol. It wouldn't end the same against my brother in law on his '11 zx10r, I would place a bet there if I could. I like a few Hondas, but it's rare to find one worth a damn. Some do exist though, and this one seems to roll out right!
