Default MK6 vs LS1

What's a stock automatic LS1 trans am w/catback (just guessing on the exhaust being catback, but definitely wasn't factory) do in the 1/4 trap speed wise? I ran one tonight in my GTI 2x from a slower roll and he couldn't come around me either time. Close races, if I had to guess auto LS1's trap ~103-105 stock?

I dunno, middle of 2nd gear first time, middle of 1st gear 2nd time. I have an APR stage 1 ECU reflash and a cold air intake. According to APR's website that combination puts me at ~260hp/304tq. No idea what kinda dyno that's on.

With a DP and stage 2 reflash I should be around what a M6 LS1 does (108ish).

You won't trap 108 with that lil of mods.
From what u start with to where that puts u HP wise, 108 is not gona happen.

The stock converter in the auto for the LS1 holds it back, if the car has a better converter, it can trap 108-110.

lol no way will you trap that with your mods, i ran one with more mods and beat him by a couple cars in my M6 formula with an SLP lid as my only mod. Well i ran an mk5 actually, how much faster are the MK6's?

At best they are 102-103 mph cars with those mods, i ran an S2k who i beat by less than i beat the mk5 by and the s2k was door to door with a 104mph full bolt on HR 350z. Id say my car with the lid was a 107-108 mph car, which is dead on for the mods i had at the time. IMO you would be a good run with an auto 98-00 fully optioned stock F-body.

almost any roll 30mph-50mph for a stock auto is a death sentence. run him from a 20 and see where he ends up.
