Intake/longtube LS2 GTO vs built motor/cammed/bolt on 99 cobra Met up with a guy that had a 99 cobra today. I had a callout thread up on SVTP and he agreed to meet up for some freindly runs. Was def a cool guy, and there was no drama at all. Anyways, on to the runs...
Mods:
GTO- svede intake, kooks longtubes, tune
Cobra- Built motor with higher compression, FRPP cams, bolt ons
This was the car. Very clean!
And the races...First run both cars started in 2nd, second run the cobra was in 1st and GTO in 2nd.

this is how a callout thread is supposed to turn out. good kill op, car moves out! cobra should have looked into the race alittle more before jumpin into it. glad it was drama free tho. always fun to race someone and everyones cool win or lose

Thanks guys. Wished it was a closer run, but what are you gonna do. Still waiting for that 113 mph bolt on mach 1 that's gonna show the GTO up... Starting to lose hope at this point.

Good job OP. I know you dont want to start drama but this race played out exactly how I expected it. Chalk up another loss for SVTP. They talk to much sh*t over there. And they were giving you hell just for a simple friendly run and call out

The Result. And they say Bolt on for Bolt on Mach's are a drivers race with GTO's because they trap 113 lolololz

Ouch. No excuses. Cobra lost. I saw the call out thread... Seems the Machs are dodging it. At least the Cobra guys are jumping all over it. At least you got a run out of it.

I assume your buddy had a good amount of weight pulled out on the cam-only run.
