Take it to the track and come back with some times. You should be in the low 13's maybe 12's with 3.73's, exhaust and intake. If it's greatly slower it's hurt in some way.

Edit: OR the guy can easily be spraying and just not saying anything, which is something needed in the ford world.

This was with the first batch of Cobra's released, and even after the fix they were still high 13 second cars at 103-ish in the 1/4 mile. No monsters for sure. A stock A4 LS1 should have no problem running door to door or pulling slightly up top.

Dude pretty simple anything below 30 mph just put the car in 1 once you stomp it just click it into D. Anything above 30 mph start in 2 and when you stomp it put it in D.

Just stating that hating on this guys is not the answer...maybe a little constuctive criticism would be more useful to him. In additon, making him think that he will beat every Mustang he comes into contact with is not the best advise either.

I'd honestly say that if you're able to lay the smackdown on some healthy, stockish ls1 cars that you should have no problem beating a stock Cobra. So either something of your has broken, or he's hiding something. Those are the only two explanations.

There is something going on with your car, you should absolutely with out a doubt have no trouble beating on a stock 99 cobra with all your mods.... even if he were to get a jump.
