Intake choices are limited for the 4v motor and it is better than a stock intake, whitch on a stroker is done at 6100. I could have gone a point more compression if I was staying n/a. That and 10 more deg on the cams would be 20 more whp. I also have resolved an ignition issue since that video, so we are going to run again. We also need to try it from V8EATER's roll. That race was from 40 which I can be in first and he was at the bottom of second.
Typical Mustang racer excuses. Run what you brung, no need to list a gazillion reasons as to why your setup doesn't perform to its potential. Besides, all the OP needs is a FAST and a good set of ported heads and you're **** out of luck again. lol

Get that supercharger bolted on ASAP.

Yep, ya got me. Typical mustang racer. Not trying to make excuses. Just trying to clear up the argument that was happening in the first couple posts. Were going do a few more pulls some from a 50 roll where the gto is at an advantage.

Ill keep you guys posted. BTW that sunbird is gonna run a 200shot instead of the 125 it raced me on and dig race our buddy with a 13' GT500. I'll post that too.

Thanks for clearing that up man. I knew 3360 was not far off from stock weight depending on gas. True it is very limited I have a fr500 as well but I am able too take mine to 8500+ Having the big bore does help a bit down low over the 4.6 tho. Don't forget gears 3.73s are way off from the gears needed for a fr500 setup. Car should fly on the blower

So 20whp more in the cobra>100whp+ more in the GTO. Got it.

Nazman made 500whp on a 5.3 with about the same cams as him. Huge cams are not needed in mod motors. It revs to 7500. It has more compression than stock, another point would have been worth at most 10whp. So like I said, while not optimized for n.a., it's not like it's 100hp down.

Automach, you such a nutswinger. I posted a video of a cobra making about 150whp more than stock and lighter than stock and all you can do is bitch about how its compression isn't high enough (even though its higher than stock), his cams are too small and its too heavy. Are you serious? This cobra will make more power than your mach by miles. This is a good running car now and will be even better once the blower goes on.
Aren't FR500 cams 212* and I believe Naz's cams were in the 240+ range. Clearly that is quite a gap between them. Unless I have the FR500's spec'd wrong. I can't remember because IMO they are mediocre cams.

lol exactly. Stroker 4v with heads, cams, and higher compression than factory. Is a pretty nice list of parts whatever way you put it. To be honest i expected the GTO to pull a couple cars on him.
