Buick Regal vs LS3 Camaro and Boss 302 NitemareTA and I finished building my turbo setup a few weeks ago. I haven't really had time to dial in the setup (at all) or drive around MMOB, but I did manage to catch 2 races yesterday.
A little on my setup... It's a billet comp CT4 67mm with a twin scroll .70 hot side. Ported top end with stock heads, custom turbo cam, 93 octane for now.

Hot air setup just to drive around, FMIC got here today, will be installed before it's dark out
I was driving around on 8psi, next to nothing for timing (13*) and a fat AFR (10.5). Just getting a feel. I have no idea what it's making for power... But I happened to see an LS3 Camaro, visibly modified, very loud, acting pretty wild. He was weaving around traffic and revving to the moon at stop lights, not sure why. I think there was a beige Toyota Corolla next to him.
Anyway, I made my way up to him and we caught a light. I looked over and told him "Sweet ride, that thing sounds awesome!" He's like, "It goes like hell too!" I said "I bet, let's see what it does on green"
We took off on green and I babied it outta the hole. He took me by about 2 cars until I hit 2nd (~55mph). Through 2nd I started coming back pretty hard. By the time I hit 3rd (~105) I had him by a half car and at this point I really started to gain momentum. I shut down around 120 up 2-3 cars. He flew by me and kept going, no reaction conversation was had
I turned around to head home and almost immediate a Boss 302 flies past me. I pulled up next to him, rolling at about 50mph and brake boosted in his open window. He takes off without hesitation and I follow suit. He might have jumped a half car on me before I stopped him. We ran it up to ~120 and I was creeping up and by him, shut down I was ahead by about a half car.
No reaction from him either, he immediately turned
I can't wait to start running people after I install the FMIC, turn the boost up to ~15 and tune this thing aggressively. Many videos and stories will be shared.

How many t-bolt clamps did you use...OMG!!...lol. I routed the wastegates back into the downpipes on all my turbo toys but one. Gotta love the quiet killers, Good Stuff Juice!!

so whats your transmission think about all that added power? Me thinks it might end up shedding tears shaped like half shafts... lol Anybody ever make a solid transmission that can reliably handle 500+rwhp yet or am I behind the times?

However... when this trans goes I don't think the car is going to stay auto.

You got alot of plumbing going on. I second the need for a blanket and also think wrap would help to keep from melting things under the hood.

I also don't understand why people run away with tail tucked when something out of the norm whoops up on you. I know Id be wanting to talk to you and be like, "how did you manage that?" lol
