my setup is in my sig. 423/385 mustang dyno

HIS setup - 417/387 srt has full bolt ons low boost of 15 lbs afrs 10.7 Agp delta 46dbb turbo with a 57mm wheel ,DYNOjet. no wot shifting

i gave him the hit from a 55 roll.

wish we could have had a longer race or another one.

but my engine shut off and wouldnt start after that. had to start it while pumping the gas pedal. oil pressure really shaky. knocks loud as hell at 2500 rpms and wont idle. spun bearing fml.

LQ4 swap this winter. gonna put all my parts on it.

idk if me being lazy and not making a pcv system could have lead to this happening. maybe something got into the engine. clogged the oil pump. idk yet. ill have pictures posted of what happened.

thanks for reading it. i see your sig. nice build you have done youself. i think im gonna miss having a heads n cam LS1 under the hood.

but i have a feeling once i feel the power of the 6.0 ill be fine.

and it was recorded with a gopro. not the hero2. the mount was broken so the passenger had to hold it. and yeah the guy did not clean his lense.

my ls1 will get new bearings and checked out and my old 853 heads going on it and there will be a conversion thread posted on here probably next year. its going into a friend's 1990 Volvo 740. will be cammed.

i plan on over the winter when the engine and transmission is out to scuff up the engine bay and under carriage and paint. also i am getting a killer deal on a 8.8 and do the fabbing to make it work. axel tube cutting and welding. the ta mount being fabbed.

thanks. i love the daytime vids. it blows. gonna miss my setup. what really sucks is my old room mate built a 99 camaro kinda opposite of mine and we didnt get to race.

me - M6,243's,ls6 intake. raptr cam, LT's,ORY,Magnaflow. no spare,no back seat 423/385.

friend- Auto,Fast 92, trickflow cam,LT's, true duals, racing seats and no back carpet or back seat. 404/360.

would have been close. but now we will never know.

I lost a bearing in my stock motor (on the Evo) a few years back. It was down for a year because I caught the "while I'm in there" bug.

Keep the 243's for a 408 if they are salvagable.. and mate it with a ms4!! Seen this combo before and it was a torque monster.

sick. idk if ill go with a ms4. if the ls1 going into a volvo doesnt work out. which i have a feeling it wont. im gonna keep my ls1 and build it for somethin else. im kinda attatched to it. the original ls1 from my car. cant let that **** go.
