Slobalt vs GTO, MS3, old 911, etc.... So my last video posts have been loses. Im done with that! Sadly no vids for these but they are worth telling.
Will says I get too much action so I dont bother posting most but these give get me giddy :-)
Porsche.....yes i said Porsche.
I searched it and it looked exactly like a 1985 911 Carrera like this:

Im sittin at a red light and I see Mr Porsche who I noticed weavin thru traffic for the last mile is pullin behind me. Low & behold, he throws me a few revs...wf? Um, did a Porsche just rev at a cobalt?
So light goes green and i let him line next to me and we immediately hit it....goin goin gone! I pull from the start and continue to pull thru 3 at about 3 cars ahead. He never lines up again but as he resumes his weaving thru the peons, he throws me a thumbup

This is payback. I got beat by one that looked exactly like this one at the track when I was stock. My 14.3 @ 104 to his 14 @ 103....ugh
Sittin at the light and u can pick out a "Speed" edition casue the words are scrunched together to fit in the same space as mazda 3 is on a reg 3. I note the big muffler as well. Long story short, revenge was had. We complete a turn, line them up and hit it. As the heavens open and small turbo sounds are heard throughout the land, the Chevy pulls away 1, 2, 3 cars ahead. A thumb up followed by a whatchaaa got done convo has us both grinning as we part ways
Him: DP, Muffler, tune
GTO
I pull into a turn lane and see a nice gray GTO waiting for the red. It has the berger look and dual exhaust. So i assume oh ****, its an ls2. But eh I did pretty well against my buddies cammed ls2 so we shall see.
To my suprise, he throws a rev. Wtf? Once again the shiny red 4door cobalt elicits A rev from a seemingly faster car. Okaaaaay. I just nod cause he isnt goin to hear my lil 4 banger rev from The front.
Should I mention the lis plate says something to the effect of bye bye? Lol
Light goes green and we make our turn, he waits till i get on the side at about 30ish and we nail it...to my suprise, im next to him next to him aaaaaaand I start pullin away. About a car before he lets off. Which im good with since we are finalizing my 4th gears HPtune. Would have prob been worse for him had we kept on it.
His plate was very brave and i wana think he was messin with me but I doubt it. *shrug*
I am catless DP, removed muffler, smooth intake elbow or whatever that damn thing is, GMS1 + work in progress HPtune that is about done and has the slobalt pullin hard.
Track day with a group on the 30th :-)

Nice kills. GMS1 is completely overwritten with most all the changes that tyler has been making and I have been applying. I thought GTO's were supposed to be fast? [insert troll face]

Nice kills. I would love to own one of the older 911s though. Air cooled engine and a suspension that will kill you if you don't respect it. Seems like a good time to me.
