Default My ERL 447 CID NA Build - Street Racing Vids

Ok, Well since I have a few videos from time to time that I would'nt mind sharing I just figured it would be easiest to make a Thread and post them all here. Plus I wont have to remember where they are all posted at. So with that said I will keep this thread going and update as often as I can.

Details on the Trans Am Are:
ERL Performance LS3 "Dry Sleeve" 447 CID Shortblock (93 Octane Pump Gas -12:1 Compression)
Brian Tooley "Blessed" Trickflow 245's, Custom Grind Cam, And Port Matched FAST 102
RPM Transmissions Level 6 4L60E Transmission and YANK SS4000 Converter
Midwest Chassis Fab9 Rearend w/ 3.70:1 Gears
295/55/15 MT Drag Radials out back
Horsepower is an estimated 550 rwhp. No Dyno Numbers Yet, as the car was street tuned!

Anyways, Here is the vids I have so far... Some of which have already been posted on the forum.... ALL VIDEOS ARE PERFORMED IN MEXICO!!!
"And with Professional Drivers." "I am not a Professional Driver" ;-)

This is 1 of my car and a buddy's F1A Trans Am that put down 659 rwhp through a 6 speed.

447 Stroker Vs Modded GTR (25 Roll)
(GTR ran 10.37 at 134 mph last time out at the track)

Round 2 with the GTR (55 Roll)

447 Stroker vs RX7 with a 5.3L Turbo Setup (570 rwhp/650 rwtq) (45 roll)
RX7 Missed a gear, but would have continued to pull my car had the race continued.

447 Stroker vs Built Integra (500+ hp / ~2750 #'s) (30 roll)

(55 Roll)

447 NA TA vs F1A TA - Round 2

447 NA TA vs F1A - Round 3

I agree Brother... And You know me man, I'm always Game. :-)

Glad to be out again after 2 years, and glad to see your car running so well too.
Next year will be a totally different story between our cars tho if you follow through with your current "future build" plans. ;-)
I'm leaving the car how it is, and just gonna enjoy it for a while.

Seen this thing run in person, I've told you before but after seeing this I don't mind saying it again, you've built one hell of a machine here and should be very proud, shes a sight to behold!!

My "future build" plans change about once a week lol. I cant wait to get a built motor and supporting mods and let the f1 stretch its legs a little. Regardless, as ive told u several times, your car is amazing and it is n/a to boot! The fact that you run with and beat the cars you do shows how well an n/a car can run with the right combination. Well done man.

Thanks Daniel. Means Alot Brother!
And 02SleeperZ28, Thank You Too.

And Blklsxws6: Thanks Man. I tried to spec out the best combo I could think of that would work well and be as street friendly as possible at the same time.
I would venture to say this is a Proven combo. I honestly didn't think the car was going to be able to compete like it does. For being an NA car, it runs super hard from a roll and I can only imagine what it will do once it is all lined out and making passes at the track!

And I feel you on the future build plans always changing thing. Just keep it simple man and don't get the bigger cube means better idea stuck in your head. I mean of course it would make more power, but think of all the added costs from going really large cubes and the F1A. The amount of money you will end up spending to make it all work together and not break parts will add up FAST! Not to mention, at what point does the amount of money... for the horsepower you want become a deciding factor???

Just throwing it out there man. If it were me, I would either do forged rods and pistons in the LS1, or an AES 390 build, or an ERL Resleeved 5.3L gen 4 block... and go with a 434 if you want to make serious power and are not worried too much with cost. Or hell, even a resleeved block and stock crank/stock stroke "forged crank" and a Large Bore like a 4.155"/4.185" bore. With the short Stroke & Large Bore it would be a High Reving High Horsepower Capable Engine. However a TSP 418 would be a VERY nice choice as well. :-)

So many options man, lmk if you wanna discuss something man. I'd be more than happy to give you any advice you wanted from me.

I think you got the 30 and the 55 roll mixed up from my car vids. Doesn't look like I got drug AS bad from your car haha.

Hopefully you get your issues sorted out and get it down the track, I know everyone is dying to see it too.

I'm pretty sure your car needs a 150-200 N2O shot just to "even things up" against some of those cars with power adders.

i was thinking a 200 shot on that thing would be pretty hard to beat. not sure how much the 4l60e would love it though lol

:-) Thanks Brian. I really Appreciate everything you have done for me with this build man! You do AMAZING work. And are Great to talk to.

And I agree with you man. I'm thinking a 200 shot should more than even things out for me when competing with all the F.I. guys.

Thanks Again Man. Seriously, I owe it all to You, ERL, MWC, RPM Transmissions, My Tuner, And all the other companies and friends who helped me along the way.
So happy it turned out to be a good runner. ;-)

Thank You! And I'm not sure on the curb weight. I will scale the car before the end of the season. (In the next couple of weeks) But I am assuming around 3500 with me in it.

Thanks Slayer. I'm sure it'll get lined out here soon. Hopefully at the RPM Transmissions Track Day Event I can get some more issues resolved then. We'll see what happens.
