Arrow LS3/6spd SS vs LS1/6spd SS *vid*
Friend of mine just got his LS3 in the car and tuned so had a couple quick runs with another buddy.

SuperSlowCumaro- LS3, 6sp, TSP 231/236 cam, full weight + cameraman
Ghostrider- LS1, 6sp, 3.23s, polluter cam 24x/24x, 3100lbs, no passenger


Oh, and the Z28 was on DRs, SS was on street tires...spin fest

Had some issues getting the races started in a good gear for both, but oh well, came out alright!

M6 LS1's 10-bolt go bad, so he had to find a 3.23 A4 rear?

Ls1 sounded good. Close races.
But yeah as others mentioned, with that size cam gears should be a priority. 373's at the minimum when the funds allow it.

i had a rod bolt let go in a 400 sb that i built--- there was nothing left to save but the heads.

got the same setup w my ls1..ran an 11.4 at 120 on a bad run..but I have 3.90 gears
