Sweet! They look like some badass runs with two very close cars.

A dig run or two would be cool for next time, as well.

Well i am not going to be TROLLING her but so long. I a little background on the racer with the MX6 is that he has been claiming that his car was fast and that he can run 11 sec cars BLAZA BLAZA... Also most of his post are really bad but he finally got a very good vid. He also refuses to go to the track to make a time to prove these races.

Our thoughts (probetalk.com and various other people that know him on the forums) think this was a BS race. That the other driver could not drive is why i am ask you for your thoughts. I understand if you dont want to reply i just wanted to get it from some actually WS6 owners what they thought about the race.

IF you want to look at the thread on the other forum....

Well, if that's a stock WS6 with a cutout, then it's a low to mid 13-second car in the hands of 99% of the people who have ever driven one. If that sleeper can hook, then based on all of those runs, it's likely not quicker than a bottom 13, maybe a high 12 with good traction and driving in a decent DA. I've only seen one or two people take a fully stock or very near stock 4th gen Fbody well into the 12's, and we're talking great drivers in good DA's. A few more bolt-ons and it becomes a solid mid to high 12 second car with someone who knows what they're doing.

i think that moving your body back and forth does not make your car accelerate faster. Someone should tell the driver of the mx6 that

But good runs. I like seeing completely different platforms be very close races.

I thought that they came stock running low 13s high 12's at least from all the youtube vids i have seen they can do that? Your saying that with boltons he can only get MAYBE a low13 high 12?

Another reason that i started this is because we have been grudge matching for years and now i have gotten my car running pretty good and will call him out again in the up coming weeks so i am using this as a gauge as to where his car is.. I REALLY dont think his wants to run me from a dig though so it will be rolls for him in his best interest..

This one i cut a 1.68 60ft

Hes saying in the hands of 99 % of the people.. Not what the right guy on the right track in the right weather can do.

Like I said, I'm talking typical drivers. Of the hundreds of thousands of passes probably ever made with stock or nearly stock cars like the one in the video, only a handful have gone well into the 12's. Is the potential there? Yes, it's possible that car as driven could go 12.6 or 12.7, but not with the vast majority of driver's I've ever seen. Add drag radials and you can add quite a few more people to that list. I mean, I have seen an intake and catback WS6 on non-stock street tires go 12.7's at 108-109, but that was one of the best driver's I know around here in a decent DA. Most people would have been lucky to crack a 12.9 with that car at maybe 108 the way it sat without drag radials.

Again, we're talking in general terms here. People have gone high 12's in stock 4th gen Fbodies, but it's been a very, very rare occurrence since they came out 14-15 years ago. Your average person with typical bolt-ons (headers and catback, cold air intake, LS6 intake if it's a 98-00, tune, maybe a pulley) is running mid to high 12's with a manual and low to mid 12's with bolt-ons at stock weight, pending tires/traction. That's been my experience anyways. You'll have exceptions on either side of all those statements, so take it with a grain of salt.

Those videos give me no reason to believe that car would run better than a mid 12 if he has traction and knows what he's doing, and I wouldn't bet on the mid 12. Just my opinion unless there are more details we don't know about.

mph is also very dependant on driver. Prime example. 2 friends of mine race on the roll. One has a bolt on SS. The other has a bolt on cammed ss. Cammed car put 2 cars on the ss from 40-140. At the track.. the literally trapped the same on the same day. One run the cammed car had 1.5 mph on the bolt on car. Why is this? Driver in the bolt on car was better then cammed car. Was able to out drive and out shift him in that distance. The cars had a 55whp difference with same weight and gearing. Driver is EVERYTHING!

I would say more like maybe 2-3 from the races I was watching. 5 mph would be a murder in most cases and I didn't see any bodies at the end of those races. It had a modest pull with an even start and had a hard time coming back at all when the WS6 got the jump, unless I missed one of the videos.
