C5Z cherry broken
First ever race with the C5Z, versus a GSX-R 600
He was behind me turning onto a four lane road. I hit it about mid way through first, spun and short shifted second. By the top of 2nd he was at least a bike length in front and pulling hard. I shut down at bottom of third and coasted to the light where he was waiting. Chatted for a bit and then moved on. Definitely a humbling experience. Kinda disappointed my first race was a loss (hot chick in Kia SUV doesn't count)

lol, I have raced 3 600's so far, and I still haven't lost. Start at 60 and hope they can't ride and you'll have em covered.
Really tho, bikes are very hard to beat from a low roll. Nice death.

My Z06 has a cam/head/intake/full Bolton setup and I usually still lose by a car to 600's. I need to spray to beat them. You raced a bad rider. Or maybe he was just messing with you, but a stockish C5 Z generally won't stand a chance against 600's.

Sounds about right. 600's are good from low speeds til about 130-140, then they start falling back up top.

Soon, soon... Gotta get through PharmD first, then right to Lingenfelter. For now, I'll stick to picking on stock 2V mustangs and hot chicks in SUVs

Haha oh trust me, I know I shouldn't win, but it doesn't mean I didn't. Very. Very. Bad riders is all it is. Hell I've seen a guy on a newer 600 lose to a lid/tune WS6 from a roll. Unbelievable I know, but some people just suck at life.

Bikes can be beaten on the street if you are on your game and all the stars are aligned.
I usually don't go looking for bikes to race... as we all know how it USUALLY turns out... but the last guy I raced didn't do so well.
I was on my way home from work and passed a pack of bikes. One of them jumped out in the fast lane behind me and got right on my *** doing a wheelie.
Once a clear spot opened in front of me I took off... and noticed the bike jump over into the slow lane to go around me.
I kept looking for him as I was crushing the gas pedal into the floor... but he never came past. Couldn't find him in the mirror so I stayed in my lane and slowed to a sane speed again. He came up to my pass door and wanted another go at it... so I obliged. Again, he couldn't outrun me.
The third and final try... it was an all or nothing run from 60 on up. We switched lanes and ran again. This time I didn't lift 'till I was approaching 160.
Never saw where he went or how far behind he was... just that he lost.
After I slowed again... he rolled up real close to my door, looked at the fender (looking for Z06/ZR1 emblems I assume) and flipped his shield up to talk. I put my window down and he hollered at me: "Does that have twin turbos or something?... Gave me thumbs up and said: Badass man!"
I have no idea what he was riding, but he was hanging with me every race... just couldn't gain/pass me at all.

I have had a C5 with a built 402 and prob 100 shot beat me on an 03 GSXR 750, I was loaded down with backpack, tank bag sleeping bag and tent so...
I know when i switched up from the 750 to my 03 GSXR 1k that a car can get a jump from 30-60ish, but once in second and not fighting wheelies that I have come back around several cars like they were just cruising. Be careful messing with the liter bikes, they will hurt your feelings. I know cuz I try to get cars to bite, most wont but the few that do are surely disappointed.

If anyone wants to get some quick kills on some bikes.. go find a local group of bikers who are in it for the women. Chances are you will come out of that undefeated lol.
