Fighting above my weight class..RESULTS
OK, we had quite the mix. The twin turbo Lambo 1350 awhp was the quickest, surprise, surprise.
Then it gets interesting. I raced a Ford GT running a 4.0 liter Whipple, exhaust and a tune, and from a 45 roll, all the way to 145 mph, I beat him by a nose. Maybe 2 feet.
I raced the Switzer, he's on 93 tune, and did some tranny tuning since last time. I don't know what. We also went from a 45 roll. It was clear I had just a little more motor, but that thing shifts so fast! He'd inch out on me at my shifts, and I'd start to reel him in, then lose a little on the shift. Again I lifted at 145 and he won, by about 1-2 feet. Insanely good race!
I raced the twin turbo C5 Corvette, making 8 pounds of boost, ME MOTOR ONLY, NO NITROUS, and from 60 (he picked the speed) to about 130 I opened 3 or more cars on him.
I raced the heavily modded GT-R (upgraded turbos, exhaust, intake, injectors, and on E-85) don't know what he's making or exactly what his mods are and he got me by a couple cars.
Racing the Laguna Seca, him motor + 12 pounds of boost through a Roush TVS 2.3 liter supercharger, making 660 rwhp, me on motor, (560 rwhp) no nitrous for either, I won by 2-3 cars. We lined up again, me motor, him blower and nitrous, and I won by the same 2-3 cars. I don't think his nitrous was working correctly.
So fastest to slowest of this crowd, the LAMBO HANDS DOWN, then The heavily modded GT-R, then the Switzer, My Z06, and the Ford GT were almost dead even, Then the near stock 12 GT-R, then the Laguna Seca, and last was the STS twin turbo Corvette.
A DISCLAIMER: This is from my poor old memory, so if the videos to follow show something different, sue me. I'm putting on my flame retardant suit before I hit the submit button.

I never really hear much about thoses sts vettes running that good... So the 93 octane didn't really help that Switzer gtr to much as claimed gtr fan boys said it would..

In for vids.. Nice runs. Im not surprised the Laguna didnt do better. Its a reving platform... the roots blowers arent the best choice. Either way... good kills tonight.

As for the TT C5, it made 700 rwhp. In Phoenix. But, here in Albuquerque, with no MAF, he had to turn it down. Don't know what it's really making here.

I like how a bolt on GT-R is considered heavily modded. It's not more modded than your C6Z to be honest. I bet the E85 guy was full bolt ons.
I like how "heavily modded" was used when you lost.

I KNOW he has all your mods and then some. He's had the tranny out and internals rebuilt/replaced/strengthened. That, to me, is not a "bolt on".
You're right in that it probably isn't more modded than my Vette, mine's in no way a bolt on only car. Not with it's ported and decked heads and aftermarket cam.

OP, thanks for sharing the experience but nothing went down the way it "should have".
And for goodness sake, there are not enough "should haves" yet in this thread. LOL
Come on man, upgraded turbos don't exactly fit the description of a bolt-on. Yes they maybe literally bolted on, but lets face it, upgraded turbos more fit the description of a heavy mod. As in they can add a ton of power. I'm sure that's agreeable.

The stock GTR should've shifted faster. The Switzer should've pulled ahead about 2/3 of a mile in a 1/2 mile run. The Ford GT should polish his blower. The TT C5 should've done a massive roacher. The Laguna Seca should've rubbed one out and made a ham sandwich. And the TT Lambo should've grew wings and fly like the wind.

I would say the GTR has a good amount of mods. The guy made 666hp uncorrect like 6 months ago and it's been in the shop for more mods since. If you put our crazy correction we have here he was in the 800's before he added whatever he's added since.
