Default REMATCH!! 2012 Challenger SRT8 vs. wife's Pontiac G8 GT

Quite a few of you probably remember the previous matchup between my wife's G8 and the new SRT8 Challenger that had such terrible transmission issues. Well after a ridiculous amount of wrangling with Chrysler, the Challenger is back on the streets, so he wanted a rematch. Here's how it went down...

Good runs, I forget is the challenger stock other than the drivetrain?

A G8 GXP would thrash that challenger in so many ways.

Yeah, the owner of the Challenger just wanted to try and regain a lil cred after that last travesty of a matchup, which I completely understand. The G8 is the wife's car and still has 70k miles left on the warranty, so it's gonna remain in it's current form. My Trans Am build will be done in a couple of months, so that'll be where feelins get hurt on the screets then

Not really....the GXP would run better than a normal G8 and that G8 gave that Challenger a fit.

A G8 GXP cant beat a 392 Hio...

OP's G8
2009 Pontiac G8 GT - American Racing long tube headers, Magnaflow exhaust, Rotofab CAI, Powerbond underdrive pulley, DBA drilled and slotted rotors and Hawk performance pads, throttle body port & polish and East Texas Muscle Cars custom dyno tune - 371RWHP and 387RWTQ

A GXP isn't beating his G8 GT with those mods

Good runs rek. What all was done to the trans? What exactly did Chrysler cover? lol
Nite, they do look real close up top, but I do think the SRT8 would inch it out.

A manual 392 would be a good match up against a G8 GXP.

Good video... that Vette was sick.
