Default Turbo 2v vs C5Z, C6Z, 2011 GT500

No one had passengers tonight, so no vids

First run, 2v vs C5Z and C6Z (with driver mod). Both stock. Start with a 40 roll, no brake boosting for me, both Z's jump ahead of me while I have a spinfest (35* outside at this time mind you), I shift to 3rd, gain traction, fly by the C5Z and reel in the C6Z pretty quick and pass him and shut down after about 3/4-1 car length ahead.

Next race from a 60 roll same cars. I'm halfway brake boosting, otherwise if the WG opened, I'd be spinning. I jump out ahead and keep pulling. Don't know where the C5 was, but I was a solid 2 cars to 2 cars+fender ahead of the C6Z.

Modded GT500 rolls. I'm unsure of the mods, but I "heard" just bolt ons and a tune. First one from 40. Same story, spin 2nd and have to play catch up. When I shut down I was at his rear quarter panel, but was gaining quick.

Second time around we do a 60 rolls. Brake boosted yadda yadda, I end up about 1 3/4 car ahead of him. Maybe 2. I couldn't tell cause **** was happening pretty fast at 150.

But yeah anywho, felt like sharing my probably last races of the season til next year! All in all a good time.

one thing thats great about 94-2004 stangs is the light weight and the ease of losing 200-300lbs. my last weigh-in was 2937lbs with a couple of gallons of gas. i'm not stripped inside, but everything mechanical is light weight.

I'm actually curious as well. If I had to guess, I'd say right around 3400 with me in it. Could be lighter. I'm not sure. It has A/C completely deleted (compressor, condenser, lines, etc.), tubular K member, and no rear seats.

Nice runs! I have seen first hand how Andy's turbo Lq4 on 10psi does with traction in 40* weather on 315 Nitto nt05Rs. I can only imagine major spin fest

Thanks! Yeah, I'm only on 275 nittos with ~20psi in them. I was spinning them on the highway a couple times before the races to try and warm them up some. It seemed to help lol

how about close to 129 all stock
http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c6-z...fast-list.html

Z has better aerodynamics and still much lighter...so you gonna have hard time pulling on one top end.
