Still a Ford Mustang
Wow, those are some light cars. That same friend now owns a small shop over here

Can't really tell if its a CX or a DX but a CX is about 2100lbs with A/C and all, this car doesn't have A/C and has some things done to get the weight down. Forgot how heavy a DX is i think its like 2280 or something.
Thats what happens when you don't know what your doing as far as traction. Another guy on here has a mustang shop and they dig a 129mph crx on the street all day.

lol crazy, alot of dudes shops down here start off with random **** like that. There was a fast *** ******* turbo SOHC down here,] thing was a mid 10 sec car with stock sleeves and nitrous. Used to get ALOT of people aggravated on the streets. Yeah if it wasn't for weight these cars would be fucked lol.

Curious on tires and transmission. Seem like he berried the speedo a little fast, JDM KPH cluster or something? Going deep into 5th like that is a no no for me most of the time.

Yeah that's PDV's car, thing is VERY hard to beat on the street. Guys super chill too, so not really trying to post this to put his car down in any way. I was just impressed how good the hatch is running on street tires and wanted to share it with you guys, since theres so many badly setup civics out there.

He started out with a small shop, bought a dynojet from another shop that went out of business dirt cheap, and is now upgrading to a nice large facility.
Considering expanding out past Hondas and imports. He has done some basic work on LS cars as well. He bought an FC RX7 and is working with me to try and find an LS swap for it
I wouldn't mind a 4r70w 03-04 Cobra

Yeah, he still has a bit of work to go. He has been doing very well for himself though. We actually hated each other at one point during HS because of girl drama, but we saw each other at the strip this summer and started shooting the **** again.

lol sounds alot like my tuner ( he has an LS6 FC), you can't be closed minded when it comes to tuning EFI cars. He's known for his Honda work but he calls himself an "EFI specialist" cause he will tune anything with a set of injectors. Hes tuned ALOT of wicked ****. Whats your buddies name? Is he on honda-tech?
Regardless, pretty cool to see a small shop with a handful of friends with a passion for cars take off. There are a **** TON of Honda/Acura guys in Des Moines, so they definitely found their niche market
