Default Going to rape some imports with your help.

Ok fellow street racers, I have a few questions so I can bring you guys some nice kill videos hear soon, I live off 2 major highways, speed limit is 65mph-75mph, ALL street racing for the most part is from a 60 roll or more, I plan on staying where im living at for a very long time so I am going to chose to build my car off the assumption that I will be going Full WOT at 60mph -140.

My car is an Automatic LS1 T/A "not one in sig" stock 2.73 gears. What should I do to make my car haul *** from 60-140?

What I Love about the people in this area is that they all drive imports, yet all race on the highway. They have 4.10 gears and such and just seem to run out of steam after 80-100mph. I plan on taking full advantage of this.

Any ideas in terms of gear ratios and cams? I will be adding full bolt ons as well and forging the block.

I hear ya on that one, Im not looking to add that modification though. It needs to be able to at least pull the new 5.0 mustangs from 60mph+ using a true N/A set up.

well 5.0s already make 400+ stock. So you will need to atleast do intake tune exhaust. Since it's an auto id put a stall in it as well.

Ya I know they come with those 3.73 gears as well as an option so they can pull quiet hard. Im fully aware of needing full bolt ons for the most part. Im more so curious what kind of gear ratio I may need to take full advantage of my power from a 60 roll. Would a Stall help fro ma roll?

Most people usually go WOT on a highway pull..or any kind of race.

3.73 Gears.

They do not have 4.10 Gears, they have Engines that run out of power.

Answered Gear Ratio above. These Engines have one Cam, thats not my idea, it's what I've seen. Forging the Block will do nothing.

Thanks. And ya I was thinking 3.73 gears as well. And don't EVOs STIs and S2000s all come with 4.10 gears?? Forging of the block is for reliability issues in the long long run. I will be beefing up the transmission as well as the rear end, I plan on keeping the car at a modest 400-440 rwhp and keep it very reliable for the future, I want the only thing that kicks my *** to be my gas mileage.

Google is your friend. i wouldn't even consider a s2000 a remote threat...evo's and sti's are **** from a roll because of the parasitic loss of the awd drive train.

You can pick up a set of 3.73s pretty cheap.

I already know this, Im using the s2000 as a reference to having 4.10 gears.
I already know I can kill those cars, Im trying to pull very hard them, put bus lengths on them and get it on tape, most people hear only do a cat back exhaust nothing to serious.

Call Martin at Tick and get a custom one to your setup.

You need to hang out with Ju1ce and teach him how to use a video camera.

But you might be too fast for him, he's only winning by a car length..

You need to step back and plan lol I would run as fast from sr&k for advice on engine performance, your better off in the LS1 section of the LS1 site on how you make your LS1 faster where the guys with LS1 hang out. Just saying.

Other then that, do full bolt-ons and report back. Don't think you'll need much more then that running 100mph trap cars 60-100+ lol
