Hey guys met a guy tonite in a g8 gt, we did one run from a roll. My buddy also had a g8 gt, I raced him from a launch and was even to about 65 then he pulled only half a car and we let go. This time with this guy I went from a 30 roll in second gear(stock gears) I have a M6 with muffler delete. G8 was running stock from what I can tell couldn't hear anything over my exhaust. We hit it at 30, I pulled half a car then at 60 he pulled a a foot then stayed like that till 75 we let go, cop was pulling someone over on other side of street lol. My car also isn't running to it full potential sputtering anywhere from 4800-5200 rpm have yet to find out why a problem is none the less was a good race.

Forgive me if I don't know what I'm talking about, but I'm assuming you have an LT1. My car stutters sometimes too, I think it's my old Optispark. They start stuttering sometimes if you get water on them, like I did

I think they are smart..If the speed limit is 70mph, than they would not get a speeding ticket even though they were racing...makes perfect sense.
