Default 09 CTS-V vs. 03 Whipple Cobra

Recently picked up a V + had my first race.

V needs a little tranny tuning ironed out, it's hitting the rev limiter every shift. Other than that, it's running strong.

Both cars are putting down a tick over 600rwhp.

V is sick, poor street tires lol.

Love hearing all that whining.

How come the Termi was starting ahead on the rolls?

Good runs!

Looks like the limiter really killed the momentum you were building at times.

Being that the Caddy is a lot heavier i'm surprised it did so well being the same hp as the Cobra

Indeed. It was like hitting a wall every shift. I fretted quite a bit over getting the automatic (I'm a manual guy), but the auto simply seems to be a lot faster. So yea, it sucks that it's not dialed in right now.

As to why I started behind him..that was me being a little over zealous/arrogant, lol. I figured I'd pull him harder than I did, so I wanted video of me reeling him in and passing him...guess it didn't work out like I planned, eh?

Either way, the owner of the Cobra is cool and his car is awesome. I look forward to racing him again once I get my tires on and transmission tune ironed out.

Oh, my V is at 616rwhp/617rwtq and if I recall correctly, the Cobra is at 605rwhp/650rwtq (I might have the torque wrong).

The V was getting them groceries, want to see it with the tranny gremlins taken care of, and a set of real tires. Then go from a dig and take the rape card back!
