I was on the highway tonight and a nice lowered beamer flew by me. I tried to line up next to him for about 2 miles and do a lower roll but he would just floor it and pull stupid **** around other traffic. I grabbed my phone when we hit an overpass because there was no cars around and he finally let me get next to him. i punched it immediately after he did at about 70. I dont know much about BMWs but it was definitely new and it was for sure a 550i. It was lowered on some wide tires and very nice wheels. He pulled me about 2 cars 70-135mph. What do these cars trap?

I believe they are low 110's or high 100's. they are twin turbo v8's and grossly detuned from factory.

Its either 360 to 400hp in a twin turbo V8.
The '06+ ones trapped 104ish. Newer ones trapped 108-110.

its a newer one. check out the taillights. Solid 109-110 trap car and runs high 12's. 400hp. From a roll being twin turbo im sure it runs more like a mid 12 car.

Yeah. I would have figured the new one, with his mods and hp, he shouldn't get pulled by an older one unless its modded up.

An M5 would have walked away no problem. Even the last gen M5. This one here is a 2011+. You can see the tailights. Also juding from the video it's hard to tell but it may have the M package which lowers the car a little but adds nothing to performance and adds wider tires and wheels.

Strangely enough I recently raced a E63 AMG but the outcome was much better for my car. I'll post the vid when I get it edited. The highend German cars are fast in stock form. Is your car an auto? It sounded like your car never changed gears, that could be why he pulled you. I don't see a good running bolt-on car losing to a stock 550 bmw. It's all relative, I know I know...

Yeah its an auto. The outcome makes sense if they are 110 trapping cars. Thanks for the info! I have a 3800 stall and an ls6 intake sitting in the garage so hopefully it will end differently after they're installed.

Your 345rwhp TA isn't going to beat a E63, unless it wasn't racing you, or you were spraying.
They make about 480rwhp and trap damn close to 120, stock. With a tune, they make around 618rwhp.

Man with 331rwhp I would have expected you to stay closer to a 110 trapping car. Possible he was modded?

I highly doubt he had anything done. There's nothing on the market for them yet except a tune and those are not really 100% released yet.

I've raced an SL55 AMG and pulled a bumper on him from dig to top of 2nd before he let off and gave up. He counted and no one got the hit off the line, it was dead even. I earned the bumper on the 1-2 shift. He was expecting to murder me, as cocky as he sounded and acted. I think I hurt his feelings by staying ahead... He mentioned all his car stats right out the book and afterwards he didn't even say a word to me when I pulled up and told him 'nice. it pulls hard' and he was quiet. LOL I've got that on very very shitty vid with no view, but you can hear the whole convo. I had no idea what it put down, and in all honest, from the look of the thing, was expecting to get rolled on. LOL Afterwards, I had to google it up.

Thats a ~110+ trapping car.
