Default Turbo Regal vs Dynojet

I keep posting legitimate kill stories. I post legitimate videos. I post legitimate dyno sheets... And this is no different.

I ran him from ~50-105... Killed it for 408whp on 10psi WITHOUT A TACH SIGNAL!!! They said it couldn't be done!

I also beat stock 2002 Vipers from a 50 roll.

20 people don't understand how a dyno works... proof has been shown and now they're collaborating to hide in the bushes.

i guess the dyno is getting wheel speed from the rollers correct? i'm not doubting your numbers (never did actually) i was just wondering where the tq was. the reason why i asked, is because this is literally the first sheet i've seen without one.

edit: just fyi....i have a feeling this thread will get closed pretty quickly.

Meents and I already discussed how the dyno works. It calculates horsepower based on the acceleration of the drum. It then uses that horsepower calculation and pairs it with engine RPM to determine Torque.

People fail to grasp the idea that the torque applied at the drum is an irrelevant number that no one ever discusses for any reason in regard to dyno sheets.

In short... 20 people made asses of themselves and are now hiding in the bushes.

Hey Ju1cey juice...shouldn't this little soap box rant of yours be in the Dyno & Bench Racing Forum...not SRKS..

Rule #9. The 'Street Racing & Kill Stories' section is available for you to post your street racing kills only. All other posts are subject to being locked.

^^ Well, there is not kill story in this thread...so climb down from your little soap box and

Thanks!

Oh this is quite the kill story.
I beat all the LS1tech engineers and physicists.

I also beat a Viper from a 50 roll after spotting him the hit.

yes i realize that. that's when i stopped talking and started reading lol. but my question still stands about the MPH on the bottom of the graph. I'm assuming that comes from the rollers?

Correct, the dyno knows how fast it's spinning, it has to know because that's exactly how it calculates power.

Yes...the dyno measures the roller RPM, and the circumference of those rollers is a constant. So one revolution of the roller is equivalent to x number of feet. RPM = revolutions per minute (revs/time), but you want hours, not minutes, and you'll need to convert feet to miles. Math is hard, and bingo, you get miles per hour.

The one who fails is you.....Go check your stupid thread about the Viper. I never even discussed that bogus dyno chart you posted. Nice try, dumbass.

Fixed that for ya....

FYI: I'm a licensed Mechanical Engineer who has actually taken apart a fullsize Dynojet, reverse engineered it, and built a mini dyno used to tune SAE Formula cars.

Besides creating fake dyno sheets using paint, what credentials do you have?

Ok, now I'm done. Carry-on
