Default G8 vs GTO's...*vids*

Couple quick runs against some good friends.

First vid was from a little over 40mph to 130mph.

G8 has Full exhaust with cats, ported heads and a custom spec'd DOD cam
224/228 .499lift 115+4 lsa on stock stall. Runs consistent 12.1s at 115 on 20s with street tires. Makes around 440ish rwhp

GTO is M6 LS2 with full exhaust with no cats and runs 11.9s@ 115 with DRs. Cam is Tq.V2 cam 232/234 .595-.598 113LSA.
Makes around 420ish rwhp.

We have had a lot of fun battling it out at the track since the cars were just bolt ons, so this time we took it to the private streets of Mexico for the high speed stuff...

I should have stopped home and taken my heavy *** speaker box out with the two twelves lol. I blame the loss on that... and also the fact that his car is just faster than mine over 100mph for now... Went from 40ish to 130...

Next vid was against another friend who has an M6 LS2 with full exhaust and a some weight reduction. Runs 12.3s@111s

Didn't think I would be racing again so the gopro was hand held. I had all kinds of camera fails today. Went from 40mph(booooo) to about 110mph. Unlike me a certain someone came prepared and didn't even have any passenger seats! One day I may have to consider putting my ol two tons of fun G8 on a diet and level the playing field with you guys...

Good times with some good friends.

I would have to agree that is probably the best I have been a part of. We got it right on the first and only pass.
