Default Boss 302 Laguna Seca vs 2012 Charger SRT8

Boss 302: Track Key
Charger SRT8 392: Kooks Headers, Catback, Intake

Charger is about to get a dyno tune to see what it puts down

Must be like 550rwhp. I heard that boss's trap 126 with light bolt ons on the internet but only 117 at the track. Since this race was on the street it's tough to say where that boss falls.

A modded and more expensive car beats a stock less expensive car, sounds right to me.

Good runs! 392 is leaving a lot on the table with the stock tune. A dyno tune will really wake that car up!

Niterider you are on the stock tune still? Figured you would be one of the first guys to jump to a aftermarket tune once the ECM was cracked.

Am really surprised he stuck with you so well, thought you would walk him: Hell, if he woulda taken off properly you two would have been door to door.

That's the '12 & up 392 version, I think Niterider has the 6.1L. Also I'd think the Charger would need a tune to get the most from those mods. Tunes are worth A LOT on the 6.4L cars from what I hear.

I know niterider has had his SRT8 for a couple years now, but he himself said it was a 392 which means he must have been one of the first guys to pick one up when they came out.

hmm...I was under the impression his car was the older one. I'll let him chime in on this one.

Did it ever occur to you that he could be posting up a buddy's car? I have a feeling you're going to eat those words.

(Hint: look at the car in his Sig. Its not a 392...)

For 50 grand I'd rather have a used supercharged CTS-V which would eat the SRT8 alive.

srt8 chargers move out pretty well for a 4300lbs car that put down 410-420rwhp.

I would love to trade up my 2011 300c for a 392 300 SRT8. Such sexy cars.

Still love the used vs new argument with cars. Such a dumb argument.
