Gt500 vs Vortech 5.0 Went out to mexico today for a rematch with my buddies 5.0 since the gear install. Turned out to be a pretty damn good match up we lined up for a 40 hit and both took it to ~125 and he was out by about a car. His car makes 600/460 with the vortech.

Good race. But 2 things... that beeping was just cruel lol. "Beep.........Beep.Beep!!" And 2... theres no point in power shifting if your not going to be quick with your clutch foot.

not trying to be a dick... just saying, in most of your shifts, including the other video... you can hear the car rev up a bit in between shifts. Just gotta practice using less clutch pedal. Only down side is more trans wear.
oh and decent vid too!

TQ is irrelavent on the 5.0s. Trans gear and rear gear is your tq. Cant compare the LS to the 5.0. There diff breeds. One makes a lot of hp with rpm and tq with a lot of gear. The other one makes hp and a lot of tq with extra cube and less rpm. Also doesnt have the gear, uses its tq.
