So my roommate and I have been a very close race. He has a cammed 6.0 that he just put a fast 92 on and wanted to run....

GTO- Cam, Bolt ons, fast 92
C5Z- Exhaust, intake, tune.

This is after the fast. We both spun pretty good...the other races are better...

All in all the GTO got me by a fender. There is another video of us (we didn't tape) where we are just parked from 110-145. Awesome runs for sure, and proves the Fast 92 got him ~10whp...which also means he owes me a dollar because he bet 1 dollar he WOULDN'T make 10whp adding the fast

Nice close runs. GTO runs great for its mods

Good runs indeed. FWIW, race weight for the GTO was 3930 and the z was 3420. We will work on some daytime runs next. Also to add, the GTO had a rear seat delete for the most recent races which was worth about 40lbs.

For sure. It seems like every race I see on the internet with GTO's has them failing miserably. I have seen too many h/c GTO's loose to stock c5 z's it makes me sick haha.

coming from the GTO world... i know how you feel. My h/c GTO with stock catback and too tight a converter walked my buddies bolt on c5 z pretty bad. And i picked up 30whp swapping to a real catback.

My buddy has the same setup basically...2006 GTO M-6 with a full long tube exhaust, Torquer V2 cam, and FAST 92. It put down 445 rwhp. It's a strong runner for sure, but the weight does kill them.

I have run two bolt on C5Z and beat both... The only GTO I have lined up with had typical Hialeah Mods. I Pulled so much they swore I was spraying. People just don't understand the difference between a bolt on GTO and a Heads Cam GTO!

haha, good eye. and yes, my fuel pump is less than pleased.

Haha Then I am sure you kno about the Hialeah Discount Spectra air filter and $150 strait pipes! The one I ran was a Red one, I kno the Yellow one you are talking about tho. I am sure it has the same mods I mentioned above!
