2013 5.0 vs bolt on Z28 dig Last night i was putting some gas in the car and a really nice looking black 5.0 rolls through the gas station and parks on the opposite end where i can't see him. I didn't think much of it so i pull out of the gas station and give it a little rev as i pass the 5.0, the guy must have jumped in his car because he was on my *** approaching the next red light not even a half mile down the road. he gets left lane and i'm in the middle, we give each other a rev so at this point i know hes game. his car sounded nasty by the way! way louder than my lt/ory/magnamouth. when the light turns green i instantly jump out 1-2 cars and gain maybe 1 more car up to 90-100. It was my first run with a 5.0 and i'm pretty damn happy with the way things turned out. obviously traction had something to do with it but regardless, i got him! After the dig run he headed towards the highway so i followed and thats when i grabbed my camera. Unfortunately he would not line up on the highway, he would slow down then nail it as i would pull up on his bumper. The only footage i have is him taking off onto the on ramp. That car sounded nasty

Good kill man! A proper bolt on LS1 can take em down. I've raced two before and won both times, not by much, but still won. Your 3.73s helped you big time!

Nice kill, man. To bad you did not get a chance to talk to him so you could find out his mods. Sounds as though he at least had an exhaust.

Thanks guys, i didn't really expect it because he wasn't stock. I don't think he did either after he followed me into the gas station and got beat. Now I can't wait to get the stall in. Ill upload the video of his exhaust in a few minutes
