Hey fellas. I know I'll catch some heat for posting on here since both cars are Fords, but I'm throwing another one in here anyways.

I got a callout on FB from a guy who said his buddy wanted to run me. We set up a time and place, and I rolled out. The FB message said the car was a "built fox", and that's it, so I didn't know what to expect, but ya can't win'em all anyways right?

Well, the guy started the bs from the getgo. I ask about the motor, "it's cam only". I asked if it was a 302 still, he says yea. I ask about the heads, he shy's from the question, but eventually this is what I got out of him:

205 Twisted Wedge Heads
671lift cam (that's the only specs I know)
1000cfm carb
c4
4.11's
4600stall
street tires.

Well, my brother shows up and calls him out on the cam and it being a 302, because that big of lift won't work on a stock 302, that's when he says it's a 347.

I'm mainly posting here to get some opinions. I got my a$$ busted from the dig, no doubt, I butchered that launch something fierce. But the two roll runs have me scratching my head. I pull 3/4 car on the first roll (which he did spin, you can see), but he rolled out on me the second roll run.

I don't mind losing, it happens. But the guy is saying he beat me the second roll because he "peddled more and took his throttle stop off". I don't want to assume anything because I didn't see under the hood, in the trunk, nor do I know much about throttle stops, so that's why I'm here. If I got my a$$ busted, that's cool, but as long as I know why. Thanks for reading and taking a look at the vid!

I'm not saying he sprayed any run, but that is what I'm asking lol. The way it looks, on the second roll, after he straightens up when it goes in to second gear, it just ***** n gits! Why didn't he pull on me the first run like he did the second? He didn't spin THAT bad on any of the runs.

hell I think a abcdef cam would have a hard time running with that v6 even with heads.

No offense taken.. and I appreciate the compliment!

I wouldn't be too worried about that, lol. The record with f/I is 10.89 @ 127, stock from intake to oil pan, so if we get some aftermarket support with internals, etc, we may be able to do a lil sum. The stock motors have held 550whp for a while before the wristpin let go.

Thanks man! There's a little backstory to the callout. I'll make it quick.

I run a srt4 after a lot of smack talk. I outrun srt4, srt4 is sold the next day, and me, my brother, AND my dad are deleted from FB (lulz). Srt4 guy's brother is the one who hmu and called me out on FB. Low n behold, srt4 guy is riding in the fox. I think I got 'setup' to get puppykicked out of sheer vindication for the skittle guy.

He also FLEW back to the spot after these runs to go tell everyone he outran me on the 40 rolls. Guess he forgot I had the gopro running
