60 roll vs modded SRT8 300 and modded camaro SS no vid sorry
but i had to post this because i havent had a chance to race anything since i just purchased the car. i just wanted to see how fast it was compared to other things out there.
i was driving around my corvette today
there was a local car show in the area and it was about the time everyone was leaving so i figured i would hop on the highway and see what was driving home. lucky me i find a black 98-02 camaro SS and an SRT8 300 racing a bit up ahead of me. i kept back while they raced then the camaro must have saw me b/c he slowed down for me to catch up. the 300 got behind us. from a 60 roll i pulled really hard and kept pulling. i shifted early at 5800 3rd to 4th and still was walking him pretty hard. i let off at 110. probably 5-6 car lengths on him. maybe more but im not sure. im not sure what was done to his car but it sounded real damn good. definitely had a cam in there and possibly something else but i dont know. same thing happened with the 300. i shifted around 6300 this time and i let off at 120 against him tho.
glad i got to see what it finally feels like to race against something with some power and just crush it. havent been able to experience that racing in a while. it was pretty fun.

i didnt know what they had until i hit the gas next to them and heard their cars. i figured i would win but you never know. guy could have had a bottle hooked up, could have had a SC like me, could have had other stuff but i wouldnt know until i raced them or heard there cars.
im just guessing that is what they had. could be more or less stuff but still a great time and both guys were cool. we all gave thumbs up when we parted ways.
