01 ZO6 vs 08 C6: 1/2 Mile Drag Race Raced my buddy for our last pass down the runway during the Chicago 1/2 Mile Shootout. I was running much faster, so we agreed to let him take off and see if I could overtake him. I waited for the green light on the tree, counted 4 seconds, and then gave it hell. He ended up pulling away MUCH further than I had envisioned in my head, haha.

How was the turn out for Chicago's first shootout, the Fb page went crazy ..GTR at 212 MPH ...WOW. I can't wait for Ga times two. 2nd time, and two day of fun!!!

WannaGOFAST had alot of records broken that day so the turn out was more than I think they had expected and by far had some of the fastest cars they have seen. Registration for the even opened in January for Saturday and Sunday. Saturday sold out in 2 days. Sunday was about a week after that.

My 01 ZO6 has a built/forged LS6, blower cam, full exhaust, and Vortech V3 Si-Trim at 12psi. It put down 630/551 on a hot/humid day. Flat really strong during that event. It may have been around 640-680rwhp in that cool 50* weather. Had perfect traction all the way through 2nd and up with the Nitto 555R-II's.

Here is another race against the 08 C6 from the C6 bumper cam. I missed 3rd gear in this run, and then accidentally put it in 5th. Put it back in 3rd and put it to the floor. This was a 150.10mph pass.
