Default H/C 01 SS Vs 150 Shot 01 Cobra

I have all the mods in my sig. He has 4.10s (SRA), bolt-ons, 150 shot. Both cars on drag radials. First runs were 30 mph rolls, then a couple 40s. The Cobra does start in 2nd gear from the 30 rolls whereas I was in 1st. We are going to rematch soon, maybe in the AM with him starting in 1st gear. Not sure how much difference it will make, but I think it will be closer.

Here is out race back in Dec when I had 3.42s, street tires, and a non-locking stall. So the changes were 3.42s to 3.73s, drag radials, and re-tuned the verter to lock at 88 mph..

Damn bolt ons and a 150 and you walked it pretty hard. It would take a serious build to hang with your car. Nice kill.

Also should be noted he is built for boost, meaning pretty low compression. Would love to see a turbo or some other FI on it one day. A lot of potential there imo.

Well, he did say he loses more than he wins. But you gotta look at the cars he is stepping up to. That Supra he ran is fast, as is the 427 C6, the 450 AWHP E85 EV0, etc. Not like he is going up against a bunch of mid 12 cars or anything.

Either he just loves racing or people like calling out a slower car.

Or we hang out with a wide variety of cars that just like to play. Its all in good fun, no one is trying to bully anyone. How do you know where you stand against other cars if you don't run them?

Is it me or does Fords seem to get slower the more they're raced back to back. I've seen this in Mach's also. The more times you guys ran the worse the whoppin got.

LOL, that's probably due to bottle pressure. Common issue with nitrous cars.

That was 1st degree murder. Good work. Looks like the Slobra needs a 200 shot, at least.
