Default 01 Z vs 2010 Gen5
The Cars:
Gen 5: cam only, exhaust, tune, M6.
Z28: intake, open headers, tune, A4.

45 roll, 3 honks, in Mexico... (I'm in the Z)

I spin a little, and were neck and neck until I stop spinning, and I pull at least a car on him, then we let off.

I was expecting more from the Gen5, I don't think he had anything bigger than a 228 cam, but I didn't ask what size he had.

Thoughts?

Yeah setup is always a big player, but so are drivers, regardless a race is a race and the outcome is what matters in the end

I've ran a few bolt on ls1 camaros in my tuned A6 camaro. Never lost to one yet aleast. Guess there are alot of shitty ls3 camaro drivers out there lol.

Many forget "cam only" can vary a ton and just assume all cams are monstrous peak cams.

If it was a cam only L99 he would've walked you no matter what he did.... Not hard to fk up an auto.

If it's a cammed LS3 you beat the driver.

I had one of the weakest NA setup cams on my 5th gen before blower and only put down about 420-430rwhp but the car still trapped 116-118.

This is exactly what I was thinking. His cam wasn't that big, wasn't even a mid size cam, and I just found out that it was a 222/226 113 Lobe Sep.
