Holly **** I thought that Malibu was about to wipe the talon off the face of the planet at the end untill I relieved it was fast forward lol

Yea it thought the Malibu was going to come by hard!

Sucks for him though, lost the race AND blew his motor. At least a DS isn't super expensive to replace.

Could have done without all that bs at the end though lol.

Well the Talon and other dsm's were assembled here using overseas parts which is pretty much the case for all other domestic cars. lol

I hear ya, man but it was mentioned in the vid. I just reiterated it. I noticed that both threads he posted were imports beating domestic (GMs to boot) and was trying to understand his real intention.

Regardless, no matter how you slice, the money made on the sale of DSM, BMW, Mitshubishi, etc, still goes back to a company that is not from the US. Since the inception of the use of overseas parts and US interest in foreign companies (ie Ford/Mazda), I have been using this as my guideline.

It really doesnt matter if the money goes to a japanese comoany or american company. The profits will be kept by the company regardless. We should just be happy that american workers are being employed.

As for me though, I still cannot get passed that part of buying some thing from Japan. Just not my thing. Guess we all have our own little prejudices for one reason or another.
