Cobra Versus Cam Only Camero
This happened about a month and a half ago, but since I work with the owner of the Camero, I wanted to wait to make sure that everybody was cool with it before I posted it up on the net.
Back Story: new guy at work that I have known a few years through mutual friends. I have been talking trash to him about not letting me catch him in Mexico or he'd get his bumper ripped off. He takes a different road home from work than I do, so I doubted that we would ever meet after work in Mexico.
First time I'm behind him leaving work, he turns onto Mexico Hwy, so I quickly realize that it's about to be on. We both get on the highway and there are no cars and I slow down to about 50. He's wanting to go lower, but I'm rolling on Sumihomo's and I know that at 40-45 I will blow them off in 2nd gear, so I want to be around 50 and leave in 3rd gear to try and lug the car down so it won't spin so bad.
I'm not used to roll racing so I ended up taking the hit and ran it up to about 130 before I let off. After a second, he goes flying past me since I was already on the brakes. He slows back down and gives me a thumbs up and then he takes the approaching exit.
The next day at work I asked him what it looked like and he said between a car and a car and a half.
Bring on the hate

When I hit the brake, I glanced in the mirror and he was a couple of cars back.
When he said a car/car and a half, he said he factored in the hit I took, said I took a car on the jump.
In case anyone is wondering my mods: 2.3 Whipple and full exhaust.
