NA WS6 vs C7 dig/roll/VID-e-o
Locals...
C7 has less the 500miles, still getting used to driving it.
The TA,..is NA...has spray, not used. I am trying to get more details on the setup cause I know you ******* are gonna be non stop about it. As far as I know, diablosport tune, cam only, longtubes, bolt-ons, etc.., maybe some more weight reduction...etc.
Until then, just enjoy the video and some race's amongst friends.

Mod list of TA. Good working combo on the street. The LT1 I think just had stage fright that night.

This race seems spot on considering the shifts for the C7.
Idk why ppl are thinking this new base C7 is supposed to be so damn fast. It make slightly more power than a c6 ls3 but weighs slightly more too.

Hasnt cam only f bodies been 9's NA?? I mean its far from the norm but it just shows how CAPABLE they are...

What's also been said is that the base Vette makes quick NA power, runs low 12s out of the LOT, which is easily capable of 1.1g laterals… with the finely appointed interior and world class drag coefficient, the Car is the COMPLETE PACKAGE, for around $60K.

I haven't seen anyone claiming that the Base C7 is all that fast. It's a low 12 second ride. What has been said is that the potential is there for FAST, which it is.

Where im getting ppl thinking its supposed to be faster than it is, is from comments like the ones in this thread. Why would anyone be surprised that a bone stock c7 would lose to a bolt on cammed fbody in a roll race?
I mean they are 114-117mph cars stock and thats about average for a cammed fbody. A well setup one can EASILY trap 120+...

FWIW and comparisons sake, I ran a 12.3 in my 02 c5z stone stock on Goodyears, and 11.9 on M/T's. That being said, I am sure that the c7 is corked up a little more and would really wake up, with some breathing mods. The c5 is lighter, sure, but I expected more. Maybe I just had my hopes up.
