The STI should take your cookies since it is AWD and makes close to the same power level.

there is a bench racing section.

You'd probably win if he shifts for ****(newb) and your car isn't a run down 150k+ mile **** box. Bolt on cars average around 330whp. If you can't get traction then your f'd but the higher the roll the more you minimize his AWD advantage. This race has the makings to be like watching a greasy hand trying to catch some sloppy *******.

I guess what I'm getting at is if your car is spinning due to the cold and/or running craptastic brand tires coupled with him shifting like Michael J. Fox playing wack-a-mole then it's probably going to be highly unpredictable.

as earlier mentioned he has you if he doesnt make any errors. But if you do like a 60 roll or something you might have a chance.

i beat an older sti (2000-2004 or something) but it was not from a dig (40 roll).

I believe they had less power, like 285-300. But he sold the car a week later so he never got to dyno it with his mods, did do sick at auto x though.

i dont think he will put a bus on your or anything but it should be a good race with him having the better odds.

LOL at everyone and their "OMGZ HE HAS AWD, HE'LL RIP YOU OUT OF THE HOLE!!!!11"

First and foremost, you're going to beat that STI from any roll speed. I'll guarantee your buddy shifts like old people ****, slow and sloppy. Hell, I'll bet he can't launch it to save his life, so there goes his MAD TIGHT JDM AWD, YO!

Make sure you post up the results.

considering what you and 2004 have on paper, 5 cars is alot, could be driver issue or bad tune or other bs or really a " boost leak " hahahha

" boost leak " excuse is just as lame as " I spun " excuse

it depends what you consider a standard and happy, at the end of the day, dyno is not a measuring tool to compare

STi gearing are not for drag racing, even bone stock power, you will have to shift in 5th gear just to finish the 1/4mile because of very short gear ratio, which = alot of potential driver error

over all STi are not very user friendly cars, but if built/set up right driven by a real good driver, it can do some damage
